We're looking for a creative, strategic social media intern to help us grow both brands across platforms.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across two distinct brands in the beauty industry. You'll split your time between:

In-salon content creation

at Understated London (capturing treatments, client transformations, behind-the-scenes)

Content editing and strategy

at our nearby co-working space in soundproof booths
Key Responsibilities:

Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms Film and edit Reels, TikToks, and stories showcasing salon services and product features Develop and propose a cohesive social media strategy for both brands Manage content calendars and posting schedules Engage with our community and respond to comments/messages Track performance metrics and suggest improvements Stay on top of trending audio, formats, and platform updates
What We're Looking ForEssential:

Passion for social media, beauty, and hair care Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok (what works, what doesn't) Basic video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, or similar) Creative eye for capturing compelling content Ability to propose strategic ideas and take initiative Excellent communication skills Comfortable being in a salon environment
Desirable:

Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional) Knowledge of content planning tools Understanding of influencer marketing Photography/videography skills
