Overview

We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team of one!This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in social media management and public relations. As a Social Media Intern, you will assist in developing and executing our social media strategies, engaging with our audience, and enhancing our online presence as the brand is looking to grow.

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging content across various social media platforms. Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and messages, responding promptly to engage with our audience. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative campaigns that align with our brand voice. Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform content strategies. Help analyse social media metrics to assess performance and suggest improvements. Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and assisting in outreach initiatives. Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas for enhancing our social media presence.

Experience

A background or coursework in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn is essential. Previous experience in social media management or public relations is advantageous but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail. A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate fresh ideas. Proficiency in using social media management tools is a plus.
