Bambers is a well-established building contractor specialising in local authority and social housing projects across Lancashire. We take pride in delivering high-quality refurbishment, adaptation, and maintenance work.
We work primarily through competitive tenders with councils and housing associations. This role is about keeping our "shop window" looking professional - ensuring our website, social media, and client/staff communications reflect the quality of our work and values.
Role Purpose
To maintain and develop the company's digital presence, brand image, and communications with clients and staff. You'll help us present a consistent, professional, and engaging image online and in print, supporting our reputation with existing clients, prospective staff, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update the company website with recent projects, case studies, news, and staff updates
Plan and post regular content on social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook)
Coordinate and produce staff and client newsletters (digital and/or print)
Develop project case studies, including liaising with site teams for photos and information
Ensure consistent branding across documents, templates, presentations, and marketing materials
Work with photographers or designers as needed to produce high-quality materials
Support internal communications and staff engagement initiatives
Monitor and report on website and social media performance
Essential
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging content
Experience in digital marketing or communications (website updates, social media management)
Organised and self-motivated, able to manage workload independently
Confident liaising with colleagues to gather information and images from projects
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency
Experience using, or willingness to learn and use, generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to support the production of website copy, newsletters, social posts, and other materials
Desirable
Experience in construction or related sectors
Familiarity with website CMS (e.g. WordPress)
Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe)
Knowledge of staff engagement / internal communications best practice
