We are looking for a creative and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our small, busy team. You will support the delivery of marketing activity across five key brands (Protos, Pfanner, Crispi, Woolpower, and Sasta) working alongside the marketing manager on multi-channel campaigns. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, creative thinking, and a willingness to get stuck in.
Key Responsibilities
Support marketing activity across multiple brands, each with different target audiences and strategies
Create and schedule engaging social media content using Meta Business Suite or similar platforms (e.g. Social Bee, Hootsuite) in line with marketing strategies
Monitor social media trends and emerging platforms to keep our content fresh and relevant
Respond to comments and enquiries on social platforms, and monitor partner content and user generated content (community management)
Contribute ideas for campaigns and promotions to help achieve brand-specific marketing goals
Capture high-quality photos and videos using a smartphone for use across digital channels
Assist with planning and attending events and trade shows, including managing stock spreadsheets, and preparing marketing materials
Complete administrative tasks such as monitoring branded promotional stock, packaging, and stationery
Repurpose written content into compelling blogs, emails, and social posts.
Create and send marketing emails using MailChimp or similar platforms
Support the marketing manager across a range of tasks
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confident using a smartphone for photography and video content
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools
Previous experience managing social media accounts in a professional or business context
Creative thinker with a genuine interest in marketing
Organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Skills
Basic video editing skills (e.g. Instagram Reels, TikTok)
Experience with scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Buffer
Familiarity with MailChimp or other email platforms
Prior experience supporting at events or working in a product-based business
