Marketing Assistant Professional And Open Access Courses

Oxford, United Kingdom

Job Description

Oxford University Department for Continuing Education is seeking to appoint a Marketing Assistant to promote its Professional and Open Access courses and events (POAC) to diverse audiences in the UK and internationally. These include one-day and weekend events, residential summer schools, full-time Pre-Master's courses, and professional development courses.
About the role
The role will involve supporting the Marketing Campaigns Manager, Marketing and Communications Team and the POAC Team to achieve marketing and recruitment objectives. This will involve contributing to the development and implementation of innovative marketing campaigns across a range of media, to include web communications, SEO, digital and traditional advertising and email marketing campaigns.
You'll be expected to use your own initiative in order to make significant contributions to the process of developing effective marketing strategies for POAC courses to meet recruitment targets. Using a range of analytics tools, you'll monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to determine their return on investment to inform future campaigns. You'll also organise your time constructively to manage your own projects.
You will regularly review the quality, accuracy and timeliness of website content, particularly where it relates to search engine optimisation and keyword optimisation for Google Ads campaigns. You will also work independently to achieve results and ensure that marketing campaigns are delivered on time and on budget.
This is a full-time position, available on a permanent contract.
About you
The role would ideally suit a graduate with some experience of a marketing-related environment who is seeking to develop a career in marketing. You should be able to demonstrate some relevant experience in a marketing, PR or communications environment, as you will be expected to be proactive and take responsibility for creating, implementing and monitoring creative marketing campaigns. This might include PPC, display advertising, digital communications and other marketing activities as part of integrated marketing communications.
