Job Description

Trading since 2002, Interface NRM Ltd is a Professional Services Company providing UKAS and ASI accredited certification and verification services and working across the UK and internationally. Operating from Telford in the West Midlands, Interface is employee-owned, giving employees a greater opportunity to contribute to the running and strategy of the business through the medium of the EOT Directors who liaise with the company's operational Senior Leadership Team.

Job Purpose



To support the Marketing Manager in all aspects of marketing and communications, helping to drive our unique approach and build genuine relationships both within the company and with the people we serve. We are dedicated to being personable, approachable, and always ready to answer the phone when our offices are open - anyone calling will speak to a real person. It's important that you understand and champion our values, helping us communicate what makes us truly different both internally and externally.

We're looking for someone who thrives on interacting with others, someone who enjoys being front and centre, meeting new people, participating in events, taking photos, and collecting feedback or opinions. Confidence, enthusiasm, and a willingness to engage with colleagues, clients, and visitors are essential qualities for success in this role.

The primary responsibility within this role is to be the Interface Brand Champion in our employee ownership social and events groups and through content marketing strategies that communicate the personality of Interface.

You'll also help maintain continuity and support the team, especially when the Marketing Manager is unavailable, ensuring our activity keeps running smoothly and that our communications remain as warm and responsive as ever.

Responsibilities and Key Performance Indicators



Duties will include:

Creation of genuine content -

Developing engaging content for company blogs, website, and social media that brings our personable culture to life - highlighting the faces, stories, and moments that make our business special.

In person engagement -

Attend events with enthusiasm, confidently interact with attendees, take photos, ask for opinions, and capture the atmosphere so we can share authentic experiences with our audience.

Digital marketing -

Contribute to email and other campaigns, manage blog post updates, and help with our digital presence. Always emphasising our approachability and availability.

Data monitoring and analysis -

Monitor marketing performance, provide actionable insights, and help shape campaigns to achieve positive, measurable results.

Building connections -

Foster strong, friendly relationships with your teammates, clients, and anyone involved in our work. Ensuring communications is always at the heart of what you do.

Organisational support -

Use your strong planning and organisational skills to help keep our marketing activities on track, especially when working alongside or supporting the Marketing Manager. Your attention to detail and teamwork will help ensure everything runs smoothly.
Key Performance Indicators are:

Campaigns and communications that clearly reflect our values and make a real connection with our audience. A vibrant social media presence built around genuine stories, interactions, and engagement. Positive, lasting relationships with clients and team members. Accurate, meaningful reporting that supports continued growth & brand exposure.

Requirements



A confident and competent all-round communicator who enjoys meeting and engaging with all sorts of people. Creative, proactive, and always looking for opportunities to get involved and contribute. Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a hands on approach. Understanding (or a willingness to learn) digital marketing tools and techniques. Passion to grow, take on new challenges, and contribute to a friendly and accessible team.

Work Arrangements



Full or part-time arrangements possible. Office-based, In Telford Reporting to the Marketing Manager & Head of Business Development.

Required skills and competencies



Knowledge of basic marketing principles Marketing experience. Working in a team environment. Excellent and proven communication and inter-personal skills. Good writing skills (including style, grammar, language skills) with an attention to detail. Good standard office skills (Microsoft office etc), including use of web-conferencing software (e.g., MS Teams). Punctuality, reliability, confidentiality and ethical. Self-reliance.
Desirable:

A digital marketing qualification (level 3 equivalent or above). Awareness of the certification and verification industry. Social media management. Blog writing experience. SEO and AdWords. Photography and video creation/editing. Ability to summarise and clarify complex information. Full Driving Licence
