Esquires Coffee Northampton is a locally owned, community-focused coffee shop in the heart of town. We're proud to be more than just a place to grab coffee, we're a hub for local groups, students, families, and creatives. From mums' meetups and university outreach to loyalty campaigns and book clubs, we believe in serving more than great drinks, we serve connections.

We're looking for a dynamic Marketing Associate Professional to help us analyse customer behaviour, boost brand awareness, and drive business growth through innovative marketing strategies.

The Role

As our Marketing Associate Professional, you'll take the lead on all things marketing online and on the ground. This is a strategic and creative role ideal for someone with strong ideas, initiative, and a passion for local engagement. You'll be responsible for delivering localised marketing strategies tailored to our audience and backed by data-led insights.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with franchise owners to support local marketing initiatives. Develop and execute localised marketing strategies to increase footfall, loyalty, and customer engagement Manage social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) with regular content creation and community interaction Collaborate and organise with local groups and organisations Promote in-store campaigns, including student offers, loyalty app incentives, and store seasonal specials Regularly design content and assets (using Canva or similar tools) for print and digital use Perform data analysis on campaign performance, customer behaviour, and social engagement and use findings to guide next steps Attend and support events, outreach activities, and partnership meetings Work closely with store leadership to align on brand tone, messaging, and long-term growth goals Help refine marketing strategies for potential future locations

What We're Looking For

Experience in marketing, communications, or content creation (uni projects or freelance experience welcome) Strong copywriting and visual content creation skills Familiarity with tools like Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, and basic data dashboards Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred) Analytical mindset -- comfortable interpreting marketing data and drawing insights Strong communication skills for partnerships and customer engagement Passion for coffee, creativity, and engaging with the local community Self-motivated, reliable, and excited to make the role your own
