Marketing & Commercial Coordinator
to join our growing team at our office near Frome.
This is a varied, hands-on role with a strong focus on marketing and brand development, combined with sales administration, light procurement coordination, delivery/logistics support, and general business support. The role has been created due to continued business growth and offers the opportunity to become a central part of a fast-moving, ambitious organisation.
You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, Operations, and Accounts teams to help drive brand visibility, customer engagement, sales growth, and operational efficiency.
Role Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Growth (Primary Focus)
Managing and updating website and e-commerce content
Supporting social media planning, posting, and engagement
Assisting with digital campaigns, promotions, and product launches
Creating marketing materials using Canva or similar tools
Supporting email marketing and customer communications
Analysing sales and customer data to support campaign performance and targeting
Sales Support & Revenue Growth
Processing inbound sales orders via phone, email, and online platforms
Proactively following up enquiries and warm leads to support conversion
Supporting the field sales team with prospect research, lead generation, and route planning
Identifying upsell, cross-sell, and retention opportunities within the existing customer base
Maintaining accurate sales and pipeline data within the CRM
Supporting preparation of sales reports and forecasts
Customer Relationship Management
Acting as a key point of contact for customers
Managing customer onboarding and account setup
Resolving customer issues efficiently and professionally
Supporting long-term relationship building and customer retention
Procurement & Supplier Coordination
Supporting ordering of stock, packaging, and supplies
Liaising with suppliers and internal teams regarding availability and timelines
Logistics & Delivery Support
Producing picking lists and supporting route planning for drivers
Acting as a liaison between office, warehouse, and drivers
Supporting delivery issue resolution and schedule changes
General Business Support
Supporting Accounts with queries and documentation
Coordinating information across departments
Supporting internal projects, process improvements, and reporting
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who is marketing-oriented, commercially aware, and highly organised, with the confidence to engage with customers and support revenue growth.
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience in a marketing, sales support, commercial, or customer-facing role
Confident communicator with strong phone and written skills
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM / business systems
Proactive, positive, and solution-focused mindset
Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Full UK driving licence (due to location)
Desirable Skills
Experience with Canva, social platforms, email marketing tools
Experience with Sage 200 or similar systems
Interest in FMCG, food & drink, hospitality, or e-commerce
Understanding of sales processes, funnels, or B2B customer journeys
Experience in a growing or fast-moving business
What You Can Expect From Us
Full-time permanent role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm)
Competitive salary depending on experience
20 days holiday plus bank holidays (some bank holidays required)
