The role
We are looking for a Marketing Communications Assistant to support marketing and communications delivery across client projects and internal business activity. This is a flexible role where hours can be agreed, provided work is delivered to deadline.
Key responsibilities
Supporting marketing and communications activity for health and charity sector clients
Updating and managing website content using CMS platforms, ideally WordPress and Joomla
Supporting social media marketing across multiple platforms
Assisting with design tasks using Adobe software and Canva
Proofreading content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality
Supporting performance monitoring using Google Analytics 4
Skills and experience
Essential
Experience in marketing and or communications, ideally within a charity, agency, or health related setting
Experience using CMS platforms, ideally WordPress and Joomla
Experience using social media platforms for marketing purposes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and an eye for design
Desirable
Familiarity with GA4
Design experience using Adobe software and Canva
Degree educated
Marketing qualifications or a clear commitment to professional development
Personal attributes
Creative thinker able to develop and improve content for different audiences and platforms
Commercially aware, with an understanding of how marketing activity supports growth and impact
Uses initiative and sound judgement to solve problems and prioritise work effectively

Comfortable working remotely and independently
