About Us
Splash Art Republic is a small, fast-growing, family-run arts company with big energy. We initially opened Splash Art Republic in Nottingham in December 2024 and having experienced immediate success, we opened a second venue located in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter in September 2025. With high aspirations for the company, we are looking to build a core team and expand further in 2025-26 and beyond.
Splash Art Republic is a unique leisure concept that invites people of all ages and abilities to explore their creativity in a relaxed, inclusive, and fun-filled environment. Known as Action Art or Immersive Art, the concept (originally developed in the USA) aims to give customers the opportunity to unleash their inner artist and splatter, splash, pour and daub paint, creating amazing works of art that can be created as an individual or group.
We're looking for a strategic doer, someone who can dream up smart campaigns in the morning and ship them that afternoon, to lift our profile, grow our audiences, and increase income across our venues and experiences.
What you'll do
You'll own our marketing, comms and digital roadmap, building the brand, driving sales, and shaping how people discover and love Splash Art Republic. It's hands-on, fast-paced and collaborative, with plenty of room to experiment and scale what works.
Grow audiences & revenue
Partner across the team to hit awareness, engagement, and income targets.
Plan and run creative, multi-channel campaigns (organic + paid) that build profile and sell tickets, groups and hires.
Work with SMT to deliver campaign plans for special events, group bookings and corporate hires.
Nurture relationships with key leisure/tourism platforms and partners to keep our listings fresh and visible.
Brand & communications
Champion our brand and tone of voice, keeping everything consistent across web, social, print and PR.
Own the comms calendar: e-newsletters, social content, segmented campaigns and bespoke pushes.
Work closely with Front of House so on-site messages match online promises - every guest gets a brilliant, consistent experience.
Press & PR
Devise and deliver local and national press campaigns to raise our profile and tell our story.
Digital & performance marketing
Grow reach and engagement across our social channels with smart content and community care.
Oversee content creation and asset management; collaborate with the team to produce high-quality visuals and copy.
Work with our Directors and Web Developers to maintain and evolve our website.
Lead SEO, Google Ads and Meta Ads, plus other traffic drivers - test, learn, optimise.
Manage audience comms across all channels (including third-party platforms); route enquiries and comments to the right colleagues.
Help integrate comms, CRM, ticketing and income tools so data flows and insights power decisions.
Content production & project delivery
Write, edit, design and proof marketing materials (print + digital).
Project-manage production to land assets on time and on budget.
Measurement & reporting
Build dashboards, analyse results and share regular updates and impact reports.
Stay on top of digital trends and best practice (including smart uses of AI) and bring the best ideas back to Splash Art Republic.

Follow GDPR/PECR and our policies on H&S, EDI, anti-racism, safeguarding, environment and data protection.
Pitch in on other duties when needed - we're a small team that helps each other.
What you'll bring
Essential
3+ years in marketing, communications and/or digital management (ideally in leisure or the arts).
A blend of creative flair, analytical rigour and strategic thinking.
Excellent writing and storytelling; adaptable tone across channels and audiences.
Confident running websites/CMS and social channels.
Working knowledge of SEO, analytics and digital ad tools (Google & Meta).
Strong eye for design and experience commissioning or producing visual/digital content.
Stellar project management and organisation across multiple priorities.
Collaborative, hands-on teammate who thrives in a small, busy team.
Experience managing budgets and reporting on performance.
Desirable
Direct experience with press/media.
Familiarity with CRM systems and ticketing databases.
Understanding of copyright/IP best practice.
Knowledge of accessibility and inclusion in digital comms.
Experience line-managing or mentoring others.
