Marketing and Communications Executive
to join our award winning multi-site farm shop. Having won the Best Large Farm Shop in the UK in 2023 and made the top 3 shortlist for 2026, we are looking for someone to help continue this success and drive the business forward.
We are looking for an individual with exceptional in-house graphic design skills, excellent brand awareness, and a genuine understanding of our family-run, farm-based ethos. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and invested member of the marketing team - someone who can capture engaging content, create high-quality design materials, and ensure consistency across all touchpoints, both digital and physical.
Role Overview
You will work closely with the
Marketing Manager
and other members of the marketing team to deliver marketing and communications activity across the farm shop, restaurant, and events business. You will create compelling, on-brand content that supports commercial goals, strengthens our connection with customers, and ensures consistent messaging across all channels.
You will also be responsible for
keeping all marketing up to date
, delegating tasks within the marketing team where appropriate, and reporting progress and results directly to the Marketing Manager. Additionally, you will assist the business with
customer communications
, including monitoring business emails and answering the telephone.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all marketing, digital and physical, is current, up to date, and consistent across all sites.
Deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns on time and within budget.
Create all in-house graphic design to a high standard
,
including:
Event signage
Digital marketing graphics for social media, email campaigns, and websites
Print marketing materials
Shop signage and point-of-sale materials
You will ensure all materials are visually appealing, professional, and fully aligned with our brand identity.
Maintain consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.
Manage and create content for all social media channels, including planning and posting engaging reels that reflect our brand personality.
Organise and deliver email marketing campaigns and customer communications.
Monitor business emails, respond to enquiries, and answer incoming calls as part of customer service.
Manage and update company websites, ensuring content is current, relevant, and optimised.
Contribute to ecommerce activity on Shopify, including visual merchandising and user experience improvements.
Capture engaging in-house photography and assist in planning shoots with external partners.
Keep up to date with digital trends, exploring new opportunities to enhance our online presence.
Support paid media activity and liaise with external agencies where necessary.
Coordinate PR and influencer partnerships, proactively seeking opportunities that align with our brand values.
Maintain strong customer focus by monitoring and responding to online reviews and comments.
Write high-quality content including blogs, product descriptions, and social media captions.
Ensure all seasonal promotions, events, and packaging projects are delivered on-brand.
Assist with visual merchandising and promotional displays across our multi-site locations.
Delegate marketing tasks effectively within the team and track progress.
Report marketing progress, campaign results, and opportunities to the Marketing Manager.
Contribute to wider business needs when required, demonstrating flexibility and a team-focus.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Exceptional in-house graphic design skills; fully competent in Canva and able to create professional, high-quality designs for digital, print, event, and shop materials.
Ability to understand, protect, and deliver an established brand identity consistently.
Proven social media experience managing business accounts, including creation of engaging reels and photo content.
Excellent written communication skills with impeccable spelling and grammar.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple deadlines, and follow clear processes.
Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and design.
Experience delivering effective email marketing campaigns.
Competent in Shopify and ecommerce operations.
Strong photography skills.
Ability to work flexibly and support other areas of the business when needed.
Deep understanding of our business values, especially our family-run, farm-focused ethos.
Experience working in marketing within a multi-site retail or hospitality business (desirable)
Prior involvement in PR, influencer collaborations, or wider campaign partnerships.
Experience developing or working with brand guidelines.
Additional Information
This is an
on-site role
Full-time: 40 hours per week (including weekends).
Working days will vary in line with business needs,
including weekends and events.
