The Role




This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and communications within a creative and supportive team. The successful candidate will contribute to the implementation of the marketing strategy across the Group; learning on the job, they will help take Millennium's marketing to the next level. The varied role will provide the Intern with a wide range of experience, both in marketing and a professional setting, laying the foundations of a strong career in marketing and communications.


Currently a 12-month role, there is the potential for the position to be extended beyond that depending on Millennium Care's needs. Failing that, the business will support the successful candidate in securing permanent employment through CV and cover letter writing, portfolio building and interview preparation.

Key Responsibilities



Tasks will include, but are not limited to:

Support the Marketing Department with day-to-day tasks Create, schedule and monitor social media content across channels Assist with campaigns, shoots, podcasts and vlogs, etc. Create and distribute visual assets Support with content around blogs, articles, press releases and newsletters Liaise with care homes and staff members regularly Support campaign planning and execution Support with event management Help maintain the company website Support with all other marketing tasks, ad hoc Support the Head Office team, ad hoc

The Individual



Essentials



An interest in marketing & communications Strong written and verbal communication skills A creative eye Experience with design software such as Canva or Adobe Strong knowledge of social media platforms with an interest in current trends Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise Good attention to detail A positive, confident people person Eager to learn and develop Strong initiative with a desire to contribute to a collaborative team Driving license and own transport A-Level educated

Desirable



Basic marketing knowledge (traditional, digital, etc) A graduate in Marketing, Communications, PR, Media, Journalism, and English or a related field
