We are seeking a MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER for one of the largest charities in the region.
The Job
You will join a very passionate and highly motivated communications and fundraising team who work within the head office of a very ethical charity.
Topics for fundraising do not come more ethical than this, and so the marketing element of the role will come from your sheer passion to do this service justice - you'll be surrounded by success stories and will have plentiful access to the services the charity provides to ensure your working knowledge is precise and can be conveyed accurately in your marketing activities.
Reporting to the Communications and Fundraising Manager you will aid in the charity's success; developing relationships with key organisations and influencers along the way.
You will undertake a wide range of marketing activity, and the team will be responsible for developing initiatives and ideas, and seeing them through to completion and success.
Using national and international campaigns you will maximise the potential for raising vital funds for the organisation; undertaking online and offline marketing, event management and other offline marketing and fundraising initiatives.
Training
You will receive the most outstanding job specific training from the dedicated training team, whilst earning nationally recognised qualifications if required.
You will have a very carefully planned induction period, that includes initial training, mentoring and shadowing to ensure you're confident in fulfilling your job role.
Salary
You will receive circa 25k along with 33 days' holiday, a very generous pension and unlimited career development opportunities as well as further training.
