Job Description

We are seeking a

creative and digitally driven Marketing Communications Specialist

to join our marketing team. This role will play a critical hands-on part in driving brand awareness and engagement, with a strong focus on social media strategy, execution, and performance analysis. You'll have real ownership, visibility, and the chance to shape how the brand shows up digitally to our international healthcare professional audience.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who is passionate about digital growth, social trends, and creative storytelling - ideally with an interest in medical devices or regulated healthcare markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES



1. Social Media & Digital Growth (Primary Focus)



Own and manage all corporate social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram) Assist in the launch of new social media channels when applicable Develop end-to-end social media campaigns, from concept and content creation through to posting, monitoring, and performance analysis Create engaging, platform-appropriate content (static, carousel, video, short-form), simplifying complex medical concepts into compelling storytelling messaging Aligning all content to brand guidelines and complying to medical regulations Monitor trends, competitors, and best practices to continuously evolve content and campaign ideas Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, conversions) and use insights to optimise future campaigns Support paid and organic social initiatives where relevant Collaborate with Sales and Clinical teams to translate technical information into scientifically accurate digital content

2. Brand & Corporate Awareness



Manage branded merchandise, including selection, ordering, and distribution Ensure consistent application of brand across all channels, particularly digital and social platforms

3. News Articles, Website & Email Marketing



Coordinate and support production of news articles and clinical updates: Liaise with internal contributors to ensure content is timely, relevant, and accurate Edit copy and create supporting graphics Distribute content and amplify via social media where appropriate

4. Events & Campaign Support



Support social media planning and live content creation around events Assist with event-related merchandise logistics and shipments Provide on-site event support when required (occasional international travel may be required) Support internal activities, such as bi-annual company meetings on an ad-hoc basis

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES



- Essential



Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and content creation Comfortable working across multiple digital platforms and tools Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Proactive, creative, and comfortable working independently Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines High attention to detail and consistency Confident collaborating with cross-functional and remote teams across time zones Must be able to commute to Paddington (London) office daily when required

- Desirable



Awareness of medical device or healthcare regulations Video editing and short-form video content experience Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. HubSpot) Willingness to travel to events Second language (not essential)

- Qualifications & Experience



2 years' experience in marketing, communications, or a related field Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, English, Science, or related discipline Experience in healthcare or medical devices is advantageous but not essential

Reporting Relationship



The Marketing Communications Specialist reports to the Marketing Communications Manager and works closely with the Sales and Clinical teams.
The role operates within a small, agile marketing team with a high degree of autonomy.
