Job Role
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing online retail business based in Newton Abbot. We are looking for an organised, self-motivated, and hard-working Content Assistant to support the creation of high-quality visual and written content across our product ranges and marketing channels. You'll collaborate with our graphic designers, photographers, and buying teams to help drive forward the content strategy that underpins our online success.
Reporting to the Content & Design Executive, you'll join a friendly, collaborative team where no two days are the same. This role would suit someone with a passion for content and marketing who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You will play an active role in planning, briefing, and reviewing product content, supporting the creative process from initial concept through to completion.
Strong communication and a flexible, hands-on approach are key -- you'll be comfortable working across different tasks to help deliver engaging content. Excellent organisation will also be essential, particularly during photoshoots and when managing multiple product samples, stock, and props.
What You'll Be Doing
Assist in the production and management of product content for multiple sales channels.
Conduct thorough product research to ensure we maintain our position as market leaders.
Create detailed briefs and storyboards for the Photography and Design teams.
Organise and manage stock, samples, and props for photography.
Upload and manage content across our internal systems and platforms.
Support lifestyle photography projects by:
Writing clear and creative briefs.
Conducting relevant research and sourcing props.
Managing pre-shoot logistics.
Providing on-site assistance during shoots.
Support wider marketing activity including email marketing, social media, affiliate and PR where required.?
Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to Health & Safety and Quality Management.
Any other tasks deemed by the Company to be necessary for the successful completion of the role.
