Marketing Content Executive

Reports to:

Head of Marketing

Job purpose:



Create, plan, edit and maintain marketing content activity for Hedron Network, supporting the Head of Marketing and working alongside the Broker Communication & Events Executive. This role is designed to support the content work for client-facing, public-facing and internal communications in line with the business' goals.

Responsibilities:



Copywriting: creating content for our broker-facing and public channels, including the Hedron Hub (client-facing extranet), website, email and marketing materials e.g. brochure updates, service/product launches Copy editing: support in review of insurer, service provider and teammate-produced comms e.g. client bulletins from service teams, product launch materials, etc Digital content production for external use e.g. accompanying graphics for press releases, materials for website, support on production/update of marketing and sales collateral such as one-pagers. Supporting on press releases, alongside our external PR consultant Involved in team coordination of marketing campaign delivery Reporting on content performance and supporting strategic plans to improve engagement

Role requirements:



We're looking for someone with initial experience in copy writing and copy editing, with a creative eye and drive to build strong, effective marketing communications across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating copy for a range of applications, and will be practiced in finding and developing the right tone of voice for those communications.

They should be proactive, with excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders both inside and outside of the business.

Skills & Competencies:



The ideal person for this role will be an excellent verbal and written communicator, skilled in distilling complex ideas into simple, accessible written work. Creative flair and the ability to build on concepts in a team environment are important. They should be competent across core ICT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of Pancentric, Umbraco, and/or Wordpress would be advantageous.

They should be able to work effectively across multiple projects at once with the ability to prioritise their work and determine resource requirements. Experience in financial services/insurance industry a benefit, but not essential.
