Job Overview



We are looking for a creative, organised, and passionate individual to join our growing team at Advance Welding. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves creating engaging visual content, managing social media platforms, and supporting our brand's online presence.

You will be responsible for the company branding, product presentations and marketing across digital, physical and exhibition channels. You will create, edit, and publish content that reflects our reputation for excellence, professionalism, and customer care. Further you will assist with document creation and management, such as operator manuals, products flyers, and much more.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and have experience working with creative tools and social media scheduling platforms. This role suits a practical creative who is comfortable delivering end-to-end content, rather than specialising narrowly.

The role is part-time, although if you are looking for full-time employment and have a flexible approach to your duties, then additional administrative tasks are available. Please let us know when you apply and these additional administrative tasks can be discussed.

Key Responsibilities



Campaign Coordination.

Create and manage engaging daily social media content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Create and manage engaging campaigns for email and post mailshots.
Content Management

Design high-quality visual assets for web, social media, email, print, and exhibitions. Produce sales and marketing collateral (brochures, datasheets, presentations, case studies). Create content to support new-product launches. Capture high-quality photos and short videos in workshop, office, and event settings. Edit videos and images for social media stories, reels, and posts using tools such Adobe Photoshop and preferably using an Apple device. Design and prepare exhibition stands, displays, and supporting materials.
Digital Support

Track engagement metrics such as reach, likes, and shares to help evaluate performance. Create the style, branding and content of the Company Website.
Administrative Support

Organise events internally such as National Doughnut Day to be celebrated and share across social media. Plan and schedule content using Meta Business Suite or other social scheduling tools. Collaborate closely with the production team, office staff, and R&D team to coordinate content opportunities and needs. Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest creative ideas to keep content fresh and engaging. Assist in planning and capturing behind-the-scenes content for events, launches, and team features. Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when handling media and marketing materials. Support exhibition setup and breakdown where required. Manage timelines, suppliers, and logistics for exhibitions and trade shows. Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines.
Brand Strategy.

Develop and implement strategies to shape public perception and build brand awareness. Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, tone, and visual identity. Ensure consistent brand presentation across exhibition stands, demos, promotional materials and social media output. Develop creative, on-brand captions and post copy aligned with the company's tone and values. Research market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to refine strategies.

Requirements



Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related discipline Around 2 years' professional experience in a marketing, design, or product-focused role Strong photography and video capture skills -- confident using a smartphone or camera for short-form content. Proficiency Adobe Illustrator, Abode Photoshop, and Abode Indesign, or similar editing tools. Proven portfolio covering graphic design, product/UI work, and physical/event assets Excellent written communication and creative storytelling skills. Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Comfortable translating commercial and technical requirements into clear designs Confident working in an office or workshop setting with discretion and sensitivity. Passionate about aesthetics, beauty, and branding (preferred but not essential).

Desirable Attributes



Understanding of social media trends and influencer-style content. Motion graphics, video, or basic 3D visualisation Confident personality with creative initiative for content ideas. Basic understanding of branding and visual consistency. Experience working with external agencies or suppliers

Compensation & Terms



Competitive salary (dependent on experience). Part-time position (flexible hours), Monday to Friday 16 hours per week minimum; Full-time hours available if required, depending on flexibility towards administrative deliverables Pro-rata 28 days annual leave including bank holidays.
