Birmingham Electrical Training (BET) is a dedicated Electrical Apprenticeship provider based in Hockley in Birmingham. Established in 1991, we now train over 700 apprentices in partnership with local and national electrical contractors. At our dedicated training centre, based in Hockley, Birmingham we provide off the job training delivered by our dedicated team of Tutors and Assessors. We focus on equipping young people and qualified electricians with industry recognised apprenticeship and training courses. Our commitment is to deliver high-quality training that meets industry standards and fosters the next generation of electricians. In addition to our apprenticeship provision we also offer upskilling courses to electricians looking to upgrade their skills and qualifications.
The Role
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote electrical apprenticeships and training courses.
Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & TikTok) to increase engagement and brand awareness.
Coordinate marketing campaigns across digital channels including email, SEO, and online advertising.
Create compelling content for promotional materials, websites, and social media campaigns
Analyse marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize future marketing opportunities.
Designing and Scheduling Email Marketing Campaigns
Collaborate with local electrical contractors and educational partners.
Oversee the maintenance of the company website using WordPress and development of a new website supporting external graphic designer.
Support event planning for open days, school career events and industry events.
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in marketing or communications roles would be advantageous, ideally candidates should have completed either a Digital Marketing Apprenticeship or a Marketing/Business Management Degree
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools including social media management, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and email marketing (Mail Chimp).
Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
Ability to analyse data to inform marketing strategies.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Effective communication skills with both customers, apprentices and team members
Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a wider operations team
