Marketing Coordinator
to join our sales team in Harrogate. Being the first full time marketeer you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of the business online!
You will bring your own, and colleagues ideas to life building a professional, fun and interesting online persona for the company.
Being well organised is essential as we often have short deadlines to maximise opportunities and there will always be multiple projects ongoing. Excellent communication internally and externally is essential.
Working with Sales and Management teams, you will be responsible for growing the brand online, creating content for social media, assist in the building and ongoing maintenance of the new website, and all other things marketing!
This is a significant opportunity for someone to build an online brand for a growing business, set up and put into motion a structured marketing plan to elevate sales in the coming years.
Whilst being a subject matter expert is not essential; at minimum a grounding in SEO, PPC, Google Analytics and Social Media management will be necessary to succeed. It would be highly advantageous to be experienced in Adobe photoshop.
Duties
Implement suitable software to enable comprehensive marketing campaigns across digital platforms including social media, email marketing, and B2B channels.
Manage content creation, copywriting, and optimisation for websites and social media channels to enhance engagement and visibility.
Oversee SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
Monitor and analyse campaign performance using Google Analytics and other analysis tools; prepare reports to inform future strategies.
Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure timely delivery of marketing projects.
Manage website content updates.
Attend B2B events as necessary to increase brand awareness.
Utilise Adobe Photoshop for image editing; create visually appealing graphics for campaigns.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities within B2B marketing environments.
Maintain organised records of marketing activities, budgets, and project timelines.
Experience
Proven experience in management or coordination within a marketing environment.
Good knowledge and understanding of SEO best practices, Google Ads campaigns, Google Analytics, and social media management tools.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and IT systems relevant to marketing functions.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated ability in project management with effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
Experience in B2B marketing strategies is advantageous.
Capability to organise multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. This role offers an excellent platform for a motivated individual to grow their career within an expanding company with significant plans to grow in the coming years.
