Role Overview
This role is fast paced & varied & you will have ownership & responsibility to deliver certain areas of workload within the Marketing department. You must be a strong, sharp & articulate communicator. A high level of attention to detail is a must & you will be proactive & confident in nature.
You will work closely with our Marketing & Projects Team and provide support for all things marketing-related within the business, helping to deliver tasks from the birth of an idea through to completion.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our company website, which will include product presentation, merchandising & updates of web pages across the year.
It is essential for you to be proactive, confident, and capable across all skillsets listed below, whilst demonstrating an ability to contribute original ideas which you can execute as part of the Marketing & Projects Team or independently to achieve results.
You will oversee selected projects from start to finish & be accountable for their success, effectively managing your time & being organised & proactive with your workload.
We are a results-driven company & this is a results-driven role. You must thrive from a high volume & varied workload. Independence & organisation are essential as you will be working on several projects at once. You will be expected to frequently report on your progress, demonstrate results & report them to the Marketing Manager.
PAY PACKAGE OVERVIEW & WORKING HOURS
Pay: 13 an hour (equivalent to salary of c. 27,000 FTE)
Part-time - 20 hours per week
Primarily Monday to Friday however there will be the requirement for flexibility around some evenings and weekends.
Annual leave: 15 days inclusive of Bank Holidays
Closed on Mother's Day & Father's Day
Closed over the Christmas period (unlike other retailers)
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day management of the Company Website
Be responsible for & manage the day-to-day functionality of our website, including but not limited to:
Administration; uploading and amending products, adding and amending current vacancies
Ensuring that the product offering is accurate on the website & all information is up to date. Perform check backs & regular reviews to ensure this is the case
Regularly merchandise & reposition products on the website product galleries - work with the retail team to promote the right products
Aesthetics; design work & page creation in Elementor
Creation; blog posts, web pages
SEO: meta descriptions, image alt text
Report on performance and presenting findings.
Decipher analytics with an ability to interpret and present data.
Management of the Red Carpet Ready TikTok platform
Manage the implementation of the company's content & TikTok strategy to create content & grow the TikTok platform, driving brand awareness & bookings
Organise content photoshoots with models, content creators & any other required external parties
Take ownership for the correct set up & maintenance of lighting & other equipment used at in house photoshoots, ensuring the lighting enhances the dress to help drive sales
Review and analyse the results and data of TikToks that are created & drive constant improvement of engagement & views
Marketing Operations
& Staff Events
Organise the planning & marketing operations of the events, including creating & executing a plan for the day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Organise, coordinate & execute marketing & staff events, showing excellent organisation skills & attention to detail
Production of Creative Content & Graphics
Design & produce graphics & copy for a multitude of uses including social media, ad campaign, look-books, in-store visuals etc.
All creative content to be on brand & consistent
Drive brand awareness, reach & engagement through a number of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, & any emerging social media platforms that may benefit the business.
Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro or a similar image/video editing software is required
Content day organisation & setup
Organise in-house content photoshoots with models, content creators & any other required external parties
Take ownership for the correct set up & maintenance of lighting, props & other equipment used at in house photoshoots, ensuring the lighting enhances the dress to help drive sales
Social Media Content Posting
You will be responsible for the social media content posting plan within the company
Select the best images, videos & TikTok to create demand, educate followers on our USPs & drive bookings from this platform.
Ensure high accuracy of spelling, formatting & presentation to ensure posts are on brand & professional
Collate & create content where required to achieve objectives
Content editing
Prepare images and videos from shoots for web and social media use.
Edit, resize, and export images/videos appropriately.
Save & organise all content in the right place on the server
You will provide admin support for all media produced from photoshoots.
You will manage the process of media storage from shoots through to publishing and organise folders so that every specific image and video can easily be located.
Ensure all media is saved securely with ease of access.
Appropriate staff should have full accessibility to all images and videos from shoots.
Local community & internal PR
Develop ideas of how to engage with the local community & raise our standing & positive reputation in the Lincoln area
Create & roll out fundraising, charity & local engagement events to build on our positive local reputation.
Other areas of responsibility
1) Project Management
o Take ownership of multiple projects & deliver them through to completion under your own initiative.
o Ensure deadlines are met, budgets are adhered to, & updates are regularly fed back to both the Marketing Manager & Project teams.
2) Marketing development
o Take ownership of other areas of development within the Marketing department
The ideal candidate
You will be an individual who can confidently take ownership of multiple tasks & projects, present proposals & see them through to completion whilst working to tight deadlines under your own initiative.
Software intelligent with a technical mindset - even if not familiar, able to quickly learn and adapt to new technology & programs.
Good knowledge & skills of Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Adobe Express or Canva, or similar software
A great communicator, both written & verbal. Be articulate and demonstrate excellent English - your writing must be accurate and professional.
Able to work to short deadlines and organise your workload effectively, balancing multiple tasks at once.
Enthusiastic, creative, innovative and inventive.
