About the Role
Arena Torquay is a dynamic live music and events venue, hosting a diverse programme of concerts, club nights, touring acts, and special events. We are looking for a creative and organised
Marketing Coordinator
to support and deliver marketing activity that drives ticket sales, increases brand awareness, and enhances audience engagement.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about live music and events, with strong digital marketing skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver marketing campaigns for live music events and venue activity
Create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, etc.)
Coordinate event listings across ticketing platforms, websites, and promotional partners
Support paid digital advertising campaigns (Meta, Google, ticketing platforms, bands in town)
Assist with email marketing campaigns, including database management and performance tracking
Work closely with promoters, artists, agents, and internal teams to ensure accurate event promotion
Update and maintain the venue website with event information and news
Monitor campaign performance and provide post-event reporting and insights
Support on-site marketing activity during events where required
About You
Previous experience in a marketing role, ideally within events, live music, entertainment, or hospitality
Strong understanding of social media marketing and digital content creation
Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Confident working both independently and as part of a small team
Passion for live music and events
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience using ticketing systems and event marketing platforms (seetickets etc)
Good graphic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, photoshop )
Experience with email marketing tools, CRM systems & website creation and management (WIX etc)
Knowledge of paid social or digital advertising (Meta ads)
