The Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in helping steer the strategic direction of our company, Industrial Textile and Plastics Ltd (ITP), with our branding and marketing activities. This dynamic position is geared towards individuals who excel in creating impactful marketing campaigns, have a hands on approach, and analyse market trends to position ITP competitively in the various industry sectors. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, the primary role entails developing marketing strategies that align with business goals and executing them to drive growth and enhance brand and product awareness.
As a Marketing Coordinator, the individual is expected to undertake several key responsibilities:
Design, implement, and monitor marketing strategies that align with the company's objectives.
Develop a impactful and standardised brand identity that consistently runs through all marketing literature and content, that identifies and strengthens the ITP brand.
Analyse market trends and consumer needs to tailor marketing efforts accordingly.
Collaborate with our sales teams to create new content and develop cohesive messaging and presentations.
Manage social media platforms, company communications, and branding to ensure a cohesive public image.
Oversee the creation and execution of digital and print marketing campaigns, for 4 business areas, which include Building Products, Temporary containment, Exports and PPE market areas
Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis.
Use data analytics to gauge the effectiveness of campaigns and to optimize future marketing strategies.
Liaise with external marketing support businesses, which support ITP.
Attend trade events and shows developing marketing information and campaigns.
Tasks and Duties
The day-to-day tasks of the Marketing Coordinator may include the following duties:
Conducting market research to identify marketing opportunities and evaluate customer needs.
Developing and creating promotional materials and coordinating marketing events.
Working with advertising & marketing agencies to manage campaigns.
Implementing and management of Social media, On-line content and direct marketing strategies to boost company presence and awareness.
Handling customer feedback and using insights to improve customer service or products service levels.
Develop a Marketing plan and report back to senior staff with the aim of providing support in directing business strategy.
Education and Attributes:
To qualify for the position of Marketing Coordinator, candidates must meet the following educational and certification criteria:
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is essential.
Certifications such as Certified Marketing Management Professional (CMMP) or Digital Marketing Pro from the Digital Marketing Institute can enhance a candidate's credentials.
Proven experience in marketing management and digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Salesforce, and others is highly desirable.
Creative thinker with strong communication skills and analytical thinking are crucial.
Team player with excellent communication skills that has an enthusiastic and positive personality that is hands on with a can do attitude. The successful candidate is someone who relishes a challenge and can really make a difference
