This role will support the delivery of end-to-end processes, monitoring compliance, reporting key controls and instilling a strong data protection culture amongst colleagues and related partners and suppliers.
Work within the CRM & Data team to support projects involving customer data across the Customer Team were new processing of data needs to be considered and advise on data protection compliance
Proactively identify, record and escalate breaches, non-compliance and privacy risks and assist in the management of the DPIA process across the customer department. This includes drafting, reviewing and managing DP assessments such as DPIAs, DPCAs, LIAs and other assessments or reports that may be required
Support the DPO in the deployment of compliance monitoring of processes including reviews and audits
Support the DPO in planning and implementing communications to customer teams and suppliers to ensure all staff are aware of their obligations in relation to data protection and information security and of changes to legislation.
Act as the first point of contact for customer data protection queries from the customer contact centre, assisting with data subject access requests (DSARs)
Reviewing existing and new agreements, working with Procurement and Legal teams to ensure the right data protection clauses are in place
Drafting, reviewing and managing the Privacy Notice for Customer
Degree or data and legal qualifications
A good knowledge of GDPR legislation, and other data collection, privacy and processing legislation standards and frameworks
3 years' experience working in Data Protection
First class interpersonal skills; able to form positive relationships with a wide range of internal colleagues and external partners
Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, naturally organised and efficient in nature
Experience of using MS Office suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce
