Role Description



This is a full-time on-site role for a Marketing & Events Assistant located in Tradeston, Glasgow. The Marketing & Events Assistant will be responsible for

Develop, create, and manage content for our social media across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok Group bookings Supporting event planning Assisting with other marketing initiatives and activities.
We are looking for someone who is keen to get stuck in from the get-go, who can come in and make their own mark on the business. We are a fast paced and reactive business, so organisation, hard work and confidence are essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities



Social Media Management:



Develop, create, and manage content for our social media channels to increase engagement, reach and brand awareness.

Engage with our online community, respond to comments, and foster meaningful conversations.

Track and analyse social media performance, providing regular reports on growth, engagement, and content effectiveness.

Create & Implement Social strategies and processes for our on-site venues, working closely with on-site staff to ensure we are meeting our weekly goals and KPIs.

Marketing Administrative Support:



Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the marketing, events and operations team.

Monitor and respond to customer emails, messages and social queries in a professional manner.

Assist in day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Ensure information is correct across website, socials, print and all other marketing promotional material.

Involved in our booking system, Roller and learning how that works (training will be provided), how to input bookings and how to download, interpret and present data.

Onsite & Offsite Events:



Manage group bookings that come in via email and social media.

Assisting with on-site venue and head office events, support the coordination of logistics for events, meetings, and other company activities.

Liase with customers, venues and staff to ensure smooth running of events/bookings.

Bring out of the box thinking and creative ideas that will engage our customers and provide a better experience whilst at our venues.

Skills & Requirements



A degree and/or at least 1 year experience in marketing is essential for this role.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Self-motivated, takes initiative and has a pro-active approach to their role, putting fourth their ideas, taking leadership and ownership of their tasks and does what needs to be done to ensure the work gets done efficiently and effectively.

Ability to multi-task and positively take on any reactive tasks as and when they arise, always thinking "what more/else can we do".

Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and LinkedIn), UTM tracking (training provided) and understanding of the full customer journey.

Strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, creative and an out of the box thinking. Acknowledges timescales and deadlines.
