Permanent Marketing, Events & Media Executive

We're looking for a friendly, experienced, and hard-working individual to join the passionate team at Monkey World. If you're creative, driven, and excited by the idea of helping us reach and inspire a wider audience, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

You'll work closely with our management team to boost visibility, drive footfall, and come up with new, relevant and current ways to grow our audience, both online and on-site. This is a busy, varied role where every day is different, and you will need to have the ability to quickly develop and advertise promotions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop engaging strategies to raise the park's profile and visitor numbers Manage daily social media content, keeping our followers engaged with new updates Produce email updates, with videos and photos to be distributed to our adoptive parents Draft and distribute press releases, and handle incoming media enquiries. Support the work of our sister charity, EAST. Plan, promote, and host a variety of events, including weddings, meetings, venue hire, and group days Create signage, posters, and other visual materials for departments across the park Gather and prepare content for our members' magazine, published three times a year. Set up and manage GoFundMe campaigns and other fundraising initiatives.

About you

You have solid experience in marketing, social media management, events, and media communications. You have strong writing skills and confidence in dealing with press and public You are creative with a track record for creating engaging content. You are organised, proactive, and enjoy juggling a varied workload You are able to provide references, which will be taken up before any employment offer You have a collaborative and positive attitude
