To develop, implement and oversee the marketing strategy of Hamis Daycare Ltd, promoting the nursery's brand, increasing enrolment, engaging with parents and stakeholders, and supporting growth and awareness of the services (nursery, after-school, holiday club) offered by the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with the organisation's business goals (e.g., raising awareness of the nursery's services, increasing child enrolments, promoting after-school/holiday programmes).
Manage digital marketing channels (website, social media, email marketing) to engage current and prospective parents and carers.
Produce marketing collateral, promotional materials, and campaigns (offline and online) such as flyers, newsletters, blog posts, adverts.
Monitor and analyse performance of marketing activities and campaigns (e.g., enrolment numbers, conversion rates, social media engagement) and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement.
Work with the management team to identify target audiences, new opportunities (e.g., partnerships with schools, community groups) and develop marketing propositions.
Coordinate events and open days for prospective families, manage parent/community communications and relationships.
Ensure consistent brand messaging and maintaining the company's profile as a high-quality childcare provider.
Maintain up-to-date market intelligence (competitor offerings, local demographics, funding changes for childcare, etc.) and feed insights into marketing strategy.
Essential Skills and Experience:
At least 3 years' experience in marketing or related field (e.g., executing campaigns, digital marketing, leading marketing projects).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to tailor messaging to various audiences (parents, carers, education partners).
Competency in digital marketing tools (social media platforms, email marketing systems, website content management).
Analytical skills to interpret campaign data and provide actionable insights.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Creative mindset with attention to detail and consistent brand delivery.
Desirable:
Experience within the education, childcare or early-years sector (but not mandatory).
Experience organising events, open days or stakeholder engagement activities.
Familiarity with the early years funding environment or local authority childcare measures.
Working Conditions:
The role is office-based at Blackburn, with occasional work offsite for events.
Standard working hours 37.5 with flexibility required for open days or events (evening/weekend when needed).
The post-holder will collaborate closely with the nursery management team, external agencies/designers if required.
