Based in Cambridge, UK (Hybrid), fixed-term 12 months
We are looking for a Marketing Executive for a fixed-term 1 year contract to support our European markets with a primary focus on our Italian market. You will report to our Content Lead and will also support the Demand Generation Manager with email and demand generation campaigns.
You will work alongside a team who perform similar roles for other territories, complementing their language skills and learning from their experience. You will be expected to work across different territories and marketing projects as demand fluctuates.
Key responsibilities
Assist the marketing team and collaborate with the sales team for Italy and France
Produce multi-lingual marketing materials and literature, such as web content, brochures, email marketing copy, landing page copy, social media posts, and press releases, case studies
Write, translate and proofread copy for Google ads, online ads, Facebook ads, YouTube video ads, Instagram ads, banner advertising - for Italy, France and other countries
Generate reports that monitor marketing effectiveness
Upload content to the website using WordPress, and social media posts to Metricool
Monitor and reply to comments on our social channels and review sites
Call customers and prospects to assist with market research activities and case study interviews
Create banners, images and videos to support marketing activities using Canva and other design tools
Send marketing emails using Pardot/Salesforce Engagement
General Responsibilities
Check leads in salesforce
Report on task progress in weekly team Jira meetings
Learn new skills to help support the team
Work with external contractors to execute specialised projects
Support team with general projects when needed
Travel occasionally to company meetings, events and customer visits
About you
Fluent Italian speaker, with good content writing skills
Good written and spoken English skills
A strong interest in the field of marketing, ideally with 2 years experience in a similar role
Great team player
Positive and highly motivated
Self-starter - you need to be able to identify your own initiatives and execute on your own creative ideas - as well as contribute to team goals set by the business
Confident speaking with customers and sales teams over the phone
Highly organised and structured in your approach to work
Active interest in learning marketing and you most likely follow marketing influencers on social media and have a strong interest in marketing podcasts.
Good knowledge of Microsoft suite - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Basic knowledge of WordPress an advantage
Basic knowledge and prior experience of using Salesforce an advantage
