Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to develop a marketing career in a fast-growing high-tech software company in central Cambridge. COMSOL is looking for a full-time Marketing Executive to join our team and help drive continued growth of our UK business. The COMSOL Multiphysics software is used by scientists and engineers worldwide to solve physical problems in their research, design, and development work. Working as part of our marketing team you will help to increase brand awareness, grow market share, generate and nurture leads within the UK and Ireland. This will involve content marketing, implementing print and digital advertising, daily lead processing, market research, data analysis and event management. The successful candidate will have strong verbal communication skills, excellent writing skills, strong analytical skills and superb attention to detail. You should have a keen interest in marketing and business development, a proactive approach to problem solving, and an aptitude and interest in the high-tech sector.



This position is ideal for a marketing professional with up to 4 years of experience. If successful, you will join a close-knit team of sales, marketing and technical specialists that form an important part of this rapidly expanding global company.



Primary responsibilities



Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Sales and Technical teams to support the implementation of the company's marketing strategy; maintain interest in the company's products and help generate new contacts.

Plan and produce marketing content for the annual advertising plan, email campaigns, social posts and articles, ensuring delivery within required deadlines.

Implement and optimise COMSOL's UK webinar programme and promote the company's events through multiple marketing channels.

Perform ongoing reporting and analysis of results and statistics from events, campaigns and promotions.

Perform market research to identify new organisations and contacts who may be interested in the company's products.

Maintain the CRM system and process incoming leads.

Organise conferences, exhibitions and other customer engagement activities and represent COMSOL at these events.



Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related area.

Strong organisational skills with superb attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong research and analytical skills.

Interest in the high-tech industry.

Self-motivated and quick learning with a flexible nature.

Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.

Eligible to work in the UK.

Driving licence / Eligible to drive in the UK.
