You'll be responsible for delivering inspiring campaigns that attract new holiday guests and holiday home owners, drive engagement across digital and traditional channels, and strengthen the Thornley Leisure Parks brand.
You'll bring fresh ideas, strong attention to detail and a passion for storytelling that connects with our audiences. From creating scroll-stopping social media content to coordinating campaigns and supporting events, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on marketing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Marketing Manager to deliver the marketing strategy across the brand and our holiday parks
Feel comfortable taking ownership of managing social media platforms. Create engaging content for social media, email newsletters, websites and print materials for the business in all areas (Ownership, Holidays, Prospects, Touring etc.)
Manage and schedule social media posts, monitor engagement and analyse performance.
Support in the planning and delivery of digital advertising campaigns (Google, Meta, etc.)
Write compelling copy for blogs, press releases, park brochures and promotional materials
Liaise with park teams to gather news, photography and stories for marketing use
Help coordinate photoshoots, video content and brand asset updates
Maintain accurate holiday home listings on our website
Monitor and reply to reviews on google across our holiday parks
Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics, making recommendations for improvement
Assist with preparing for event organisation and on park marketing activities
Work with design, web and print suppliers to ensure consistent brand presentation
Support our Holiday Parks in their marketing requirements, such as posters for events, or communications emails
Support lead generation and nurture campaigns for holiday home sales and holidays
Support with admin tasks and data inputting
Skills and Experience
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a marketing role (hospitality, travel or leisure sector preferred but not essential)
Strong copywriting and communication skills with an eye for detail
Confident using social media platforms for business (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Linkedin), and assisting in creating a content plan for these platforms.
Good knowledge of email marketing tools and content scheduling platforms. Our preferred platforms are Hubspot, Loomly, and Meta.
An understanding of SEO, Google Analytics and digital advertising
Creative mindset with good visual judgement and understanding of brand tone
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team, with a 'can do' attitude
Ability to write in our brand tone of voice across all Marketing channels
A proactive approach with enthusiasm to contribute new ideas and solutions! You're joining a small team who like to bounce ideas around.
Full UK driving licence desirable (travel to parks may be required)
Desired Skills
Knowledge and experience of the Holiday/Leisure Industry
Ability to capture and edit Photos and Video content for social media
PPC and Digital AD's campaigns creation and analysis.
A knowledge of Wordpress
