22,500 - 30,000 (dependent on experience)

Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (occasional event work - time off in lieu)

Social Media & Marketing Assistant

to join us during our Marketing Manager's maternity leave. This is a

temporary role with the potential to become permanent

if you make a strong impact.

The Role

Working as part of a three-person marketing team, you'll play a key role in shaping the online presence of both NK Motors and Nicco Restaurant & Bar. You'll help produce exciting, engaging content that drives customer engagement, builds brand awareness, and showcases the personality of both businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Create engaging photo and video content for use across social media, websites, and marketing campaigns. Appear confidently on video talking about products, promotions, and events across both businesses. Manage and grow our presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, launch events, and restaurant promotions. Liaise with sales, service, and restaurant teams to capture real-time stories, customer moments, and highlights. Assist with advertising copy, social media captions, and brand-aligned messaging. Monitor analytics, track engagement, and help identify new trends and opportunities. Occasionally attend evening or weekend events (such as Nicco live music nights or car launches) - time will be given back in lieu.

About You

We're looking for someone creative, confident, and switched-on -- someone who understands how to create content that captures attention.

You'll have:

Strong knowledge of all major social media platforms and current trends. Creative skills in photography, videography, and editing (experience with Canva, CapCut, or Adobe tools is ideal). Confident, engaging on-camera presence and strong communication skills. A proactive, can-do attitude with energy and initiative. An organised approach with the ability to manage multiple projects. (Preferred) A full UK driving licence to travel between sites.
