Marketing Executive - Creative & Customer Communications



Location:

Glasgow (with travel to depots if required)

Reports To:

eCommerce & Marketing Director

Purpose of the Role



To deliver creative, consistent, and engaging marketing content that supports

wholesale depots, retail symbol groups, and digital channels.

The Marketing Executive is responsible for customer communications, creative

direction, and social media activity, ensuring all marketing output aligns with brand

guidelines and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction & Design Oversight



? Develop creative themes, straplines, and campaign messaging for trade brochures, seasonal events, and supplier takeovers.

? Brief and manage external printers/design partners on layouts, POS pages, and promotional artwork.

? Produce light in-house creative assets as required (digital flyers, banners, trade booklets, social content).

? Maintain brand consistency across all materials and ensure regional variations are aligned.

Digital & Social Media



? Manage and grow social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).

? Plan and execute seasonal social campaigns and giveaways to drive engagement.

? Create and distribute weekly WhatsApp newsletters and trade updates to customers.

? Provide symbol group retailers (Day-Today and Usave) with social media

packs and seasonal assets.

Campaign Support & Collaboration



? Work closely with the Marketing Activation Executive to translate campaign

briefs into creative messaging.

? Coordinate with the Retail Team to deliver symbol group POS, dealbooks, and

in-store activation packs.

? Support depot and digital campaigns with creative direction and visual

content.

? Liaise with printers and internal teams to ensure timely approvals and print

delivery.

Reporting & Administration



? Monitor social and digital engagement; prepare monthly activity and insight reports.

? Maintain internal image libraries and ensure the compliance is up to date.

Skills & Experience



? 2-3 years' experience in marketing, design, or campaign coordination (FMCG/ wholesale / retail preferred but not required).

? Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Canva Pro.

? Excellent copywriting and visual communication skills.

? Strong organisational ability with attention to detail.

? Confident communicator, able to brief suppliers and external partners effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-35,000.00 per year
