Job Description

As our Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and creating visually compelling content across MCC digital platforms. This is a new hands on role, ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their marketing career. With a focus on design and video editing you will be solely responsible for helping MCC take next steps in growing our online presence and showcasing our passion and pride in the work we undertake.

Responsibilities:

Marketing & Social Media Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage marketing and social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and our mailing list.

Video Editing: Video editing and production is essential for the role. We are looking for someone who has experience and passion making and editing video both short and long form. We will be uploading frequently to Instagram, TikTok and Linkdin.

Content Creation & Design: Create engaging and effective content for social media, our website and email marketing campaigns.

Developing Brand Guidelines: We are looking to strengthen our overall appearance both digitally and externally, the chosen applicant will be required to introduce, enforce and maintain brand guidelines.

Paid Advertising: Manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns on both Google ads and Facebook.

Email Marketing: Create and manage email marketing campaigns on Mailchimp. Implementing a consistent look representing our brand and altering content where necessary for different customer segments.

Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and best practices, presenting new and exciting ideas to management will be encouraged.

Skills and Experience:

2 years previous experience in a Marketing role is desirable, but please send over your portfolio if you don't have the work experience but can showcase your skills!

Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Suite (illustrator and Indesign primarily)

Video editing experience in Premier Pro or a similar program is essential for this role.

A portfolio showcasing your Graphic Design and video production and editing expertise.

Experience managing a mailing list and handling data is desirable.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and make the role your own with the possibility of growing into a management role after 12 months.

Web management experience is desirable. We are looking to improve our website and expect the right candidate to be an important voice in this process.

Knowledge of printing processes and setups is desirable along with leaflet and flyer design.

Salary starts at 13hr with a minimum of 16 hours per week the role is primarily office based but Work From Home and flexible working options for the right candidate will be considered.

A review will take place after 6 month probationary period.
