Marketing Executive

Brightsun Travel is seeking a creative candidate to work on our content, digital, events and social media channels. This role suits a hands-on marketeer who enjoys creating content, running social channels and being actively involved in planning and delivering events.?

Role purpose



Create and manage high-quality digital content that promotes Brightsun Travel's destinations, products and brand story across web, email and social channels.? Own day-to-day social media channel strategy and management, building an engaged community and driving traffic and enquiries.? Support the planning and delivery of Brightsun Travel events (consumer evenings, trade shows, partner activations) to meet event objectives.? Deliver against team KPI's including social media, traffic and audience targeting and database growth

Key responsibilities



Content and social media

Manage Brightsun Travel's social media channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok), including a social media strategy, content calendars, posting, community management and basic social advertising support.? Plan, write and edit content for owned channels including the website, landing pages, blogs, emails and social media, optimised for engagement and conversion.? Track analytics and plan growth and engagement led campaigns including competitions.
Events support

Assist in planning and delivering events such as client events, staff events, trade shows and partner promotions, including invites, content, on-the-day support and follow up.? Coordinate event assets (presentations, signage, digital promotions) and brief/create content (photos, short videos, live posts) during events for use across channels.?
Digital marketing

Support content, copy and marketing campaigns from brief and build to testing and reporting, ensuring content reflects Brightsun Travel's brand and tone of voice and targets relevant audiences across B2B and B2C. Help maintain and update social and website content (offers, destination pages, blog posts), applying basic SEO best practices.?
Analytics and reporting

Track and report on social media, email and event performance, sharing insights and ideas to improve engagement and ROI.? Monitor digital and social trends within travel and suggest new content and event ideas.?

Required Skills and Experience



Minimum 3 years' experience in digital marketing, social media management and/or events support, ideally within travel, hospitality or leisure.? Excellent English, immaculate copywriting and storytelling skills with a good eye for imagery, design and basic video content.? Experienced and confident using social media platforms, email tools, basic design or editing tools, and analytics dashboards.? Able to brief and manage external agencies, with a confident communication style Event management experience Highly organised, proactive and comfortable juggling multiple projects Experience using social media and mailing and analytics software platforms required such as Loomly, Mailchimp, Hubspot, Analytics Canva and graphic design tools software experience such as Photoshop desirable Someone who loves travel, enjoys writing about travel and marketing travel
This role will be office-based in Hounslow, London until the office moves to its new offices in Fulham Broadway in Summer 2026. Suitable for career returners and is a full time role Mon - Fri . We will consider applicants looking for this role 4 days/week pro rata.
