The job

Your
role
will be to create and deliver engaging content and campaigns to bring our brand to life in an effective, compelling and differentiated way.
Your
responsibilities
will be to:
Create eye catching content and campaigns, for both direct consumers and trade customers, to be delivered across multiple channels
Manage our social media presence, including creating content and managing fan interaction
Grow our PR activity
Develop our blogger/influencer strategy
Build partnerships with complementary brands
Organise internal and external events
Support the delivery of our email programme
Support our paid media activity
Support our SEO activity
Plan and implement ad-hoc projects
This job will suit an energetic and creative individual looking for a role where they will lead many of the varied marketing activities that take place in a clothing brand.
While you'll be expected to be proactive, you'll receive lots of guidance and support to ensure that you are successful and have the right opportunities to grow professionally.
If you are the ideal candidate, you will:
Have 3+ years experience in a similar role
Preferably have a degree or equivalent experience in marketing/business or another related field
Have excellent knowledge of all the main social media platforms and an understanding of how to drive brand engagement and growth via these channels
Have developed high impact content and campaigns that you can show to us
Have experience organising successful events
Understand the Kite brand and be excited to find ways to beautifully showcase it to our consumers
Be enthusiastic, energetic and enjoy getting stuck into a wide variety of tasks
Be confident, outgoing and naturally creative, and want to help grow our brand
Readily and pro-actively suggest and develop creative ideas
Have great organisational and time management skills, and a proactive attitude
Have an excellent attention to detail, in particular be able to proofread quickly and efficiently
Have a good working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Be an excellent communicator with both verbal and written skills and be able to consider the needs of different audiences
Preferably have experience of website CMS systems and Email Service Providers (ESPs)
Be able to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
Be resilient, able to work in a fast-paced environment and very comfortable with change
Enjoy building good relationships with your colleagues, everyone sees you as a great team player
Be keen and able to learn and develop, always looking to review your performance and identify and implement opportunities to improve

What we offer

Starting in June, this is a 12 month fixed term contract covering a maternity absence. Your role will be office based and your working hours are 25 hours per week over 5 days. Your starting salary will be between 28,000 to 33,000 pro-rata depending on experience.
You will receive 20 days holiday (pro-rata) plus bank holidays. We also provide a company pension and generous staff discount on our own products.
There is free on-site parking and our office is located within walking distance of both Branksome train station and the main bus routes.
