Full Time:

Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 8:45am - 5pm, 9am - 4pm Fri)

Salary:

Competitive (Depending on experience)

Holiday:

29 days per annum (includes Bank Holidays)

Commercial Director

Purpose of the job:

This role offers a great opportunity to get hands-on experience across a wide variety of marketing activities, from content creation and Point of Sale Development, exhibition management and social media management, to brand campaigns. As a Marketing Executive, you will support marketing efforts across multiple channels in our Mattress and Sports Divisions and play an essential role in executing initiatives that drive growth and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:




Content Calendar Management & Content Creation:




Manage and maintain the content calendar for multiple websites across the group, ensuring content is published in a timely and strategic manner.

Draft and edit website content, blog posts, product descriptions, and other online assets.

Collaborate with teams to ensure that content aligns with marketing goals and branding guidelines.

Social Media Management:




Assist in managing the company's social media channels

Draft, schedule, and post engaging content that promotes our brands and products.

Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments, and interact with followers to build a loyal community.

Point of Sale and Advertising




Work to develop engaging and impactful in store materials

Developing consumer and trade facing assets to enhance our product sales

Manage the relationships with trade advertising

Internal Communications:




Own the production of the internal company newsletter, including content planning, writing, and coordination with other departments to gather relevant updates.

Ensure the newsletter is delivered on time and meets internal communication objectives.

Support in maintaining clear and effective communication across the company.

If you have design experience, you'll have the opportunity to create and edit visual assets using design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

General Marketing Support:




Assist in the planning and execution of brand activity, working with the Marketing Manager across the full marketing mix.

Support with the briefing of marketing assets including point of sale material.

Supporting with photography shoots as required.

The ideal candidate requirements:




Ideally recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Strong written communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

Experience in working with trade marketing assets and point of sale would be an added benefit

Experience managing or contributing to social media content and campaigns.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritise work effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) are a bonus but not essential.

A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications and Experience:
