Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Executive Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing within the professional services sector, particularly within a dynamic accountancy practice.

We aren't your usual accountancy practice, with an energetic and lively small team who really love getting involved. We offer an engaging and fun environment to work in, one that we hope doesn't feel like "work".

You will have the opportunity to work across our socials, and also gain experience in improving our brands awareness through a number of avenues. If you are confident in front of a camera, this also helps - we love filming TikTok videos.

If you are someone looking to get their foot in the door in a marketing role, this position will be ideal for you.

We have successfully placed four candidates in this role earlier in the year whom all completed their internship with us and went on to progress their careers.

Note:

Due to the internship funding requirements you have to be aged 22+ at the start date to be eligible for this role.

Length of Internship: 6 weeks

Working Hours: 35 hours per week (flexible, can be less to suit the right individual, or up to a max of 38 hours)

Work Location: At our Peterborough office, with plenty of parking available

Salary: 22,222 per annum (pro-rata to 6 weeks, 2,564)

Start Date: 5 January 2026 (we can be flexible here, up to 19 January 2026)

Responsibilities

As a Marketing Executive Intern, your role will include, but is not limited to:

1. Social Media Management

Creating and scheduling engaging content for our social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). o Monitoring analytics to measure campaign success and suggesting improvements.

2. Content Creation

o Developing social media content, newsletters, and client-focused marketing materials. TikTok marketing drive (search RealiseFinance on Tiktok) o Assisting in the design and editing of visual marketing content, including videography and photography.

3. Videography & Photography

o Capturing and editing photos and videos for marketing campaigns, client testimonials, and social media. o Attending client premises to create content that highlights their unique stories and our services.

4. AI reach improvement

o We are keen to improve our reach online, especially in AI (I.e. if an individual searches on ChatGPT for the "5 best accountants in Peterborough", we would like to show up).

5. Campaign Support

o Assisting with the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns. o Tracking campaign performance and preparing reports for review.
This role is flexible so we are open to a mix of the above tasks, to suit the right individual!

Skills

A passion for marketing and an interest in the professional services industry. Good experience with social media (Instagram & TikTok) Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Self-motivated, organised, and eager to learn.
