About the Role

The Marketing Executive (Journals) in the Social Sciences, Law, & Psychology team is a role that develops and implements marketing strategies across a dedicated journal list, under guidance, based on departmental goals and objectives. This role also supports Marketing Managers across the team on campaign implementation.

You will be accountable for:

  • Development and implementation of strategic marketing plans, under guidance, for a key journal portfolio (and a small number of key high value products)
  • Communication with key stakeholders including societies and editorial
  • In alignment with team objectives, lead and direct campaigns for your journal portfolio
  • Development and implementation of key content strategies for your journal portfolio
  • Implementation of third-party event/conference strategies for key subject areas/journal portfolios
  • Analysis of campaigns and providing insights on continuous improvement
  • Developing market knowledge in your area of science
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

About You

You will have:
  • Strong understanding of, and experience in, marketing
  • Understanding of, and experience in, marketing to a range of audiences
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven effective communication with external and external customers \xe2\x80\x93 negotiation and influencing
  • Experience in publishing (preferable)
