The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Work alongside the Marketing Manager to plan and develop a robust social media strategy.
Create valuable and engaging content with a focus on improving SEO and generating leads.
Support the Marketing Apprentice in creating content for social media (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and
Instagram) and building engagement on these channels.
Prepare email newsletters and help grow the mailing list.
Develop thought-provoking email campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
Produce and manage paid advertising campaigns across social media platforms, evaluating and reporting on results.
Continuously monitor and report on social media, email, and campaign performance.
Provide general marketing support across the business.
Write and proofread copy for various marketing materials.
Essential criteria:
University degree in Marketing, Media or a communication related degree
Fully conversant in: Photoshop, Adobe, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Social Media
Creativity - must have an artistic flair and a keen eye for detail
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Willingness to build relationships and be customer focused
