Job Description

We're looking for a Marketing Executive who brings at least two years' experience and a genuine strength in creating, shaping, and optimising content.

You'll work closely with clients from onboarding right through to ongoing delivery, translating their goals into insight-driven, effective marketing activity.

While content will be one of your core focuses, this role goes beyond copy. You'll have opportunities to work across SEO, PPC, and social media, ensuring every piece of work - whether it's a campaign, blog or optimisation project - is delivered on time, to a high standard, and aligned with long-term strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who's already part of a marketing team but wants more autonomy, more variety, and the freedom to experiment. You'll have room to stretch your creative thinking, try new approaches, and genuinely influence client outcomes.

You understand how to craft narratives, shape ideas, and turn strategy into compelling written output.

Brings at least two years of solid experience

(in-house or agency) and feels ready to step into a role with more autonomy, responsibility, and creative stretch.

What you'll be doing.



In this content-focused Marketing Executive role, you'll collaborate closely with our design and development teams to deliver marketing that's both strategically sound and creatively sharp.

Your day-to-day will include:



Creating website content that's persuasive, structured for users, and aligned with SEO best practices. Managing and publishing organic social content for GEL Studios and client brands. Crafting press releases to relevant local media outlets. Managing and refining Google Ads campaigns, ensuring copy and targeting work together. Contributing to and executing the GEL Studios marketing strategy, with a strong content lens. Interpreting performance data to inform content decisions, refine messaging, and optimise activity. Taking part in client retainer meetings, translating actions into clear deliverables.

Desirable skills.



SEO tools such as Semrush (or similar) Google Marketing Suite: GA4, Tag Manager, Looker Studio Email platforms such as Mailchimp Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro Video production and editing capabilities
