The Marketing Executive supports the Marketing Managers (B2B and B2C) in the planning and delivery of campaigns targeting both business and consumer audiences. The role focuses on promoting BCS products and services, driving acquisition, engagement and growth, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
The marketing executive will have and actively use marketing principles, digital marketing and sales support skills to ensure that all marketing deliverables are on brand, have appropriate targeting and have clear messaging aligned to our strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of the BCS strategy and product offering, customers and market.
Implement marketing plans that are delivered via multiple channels, to build awareness, increase visits to the BCS website, generate sales leads, optimise conversion to sale and increase customer engagement and retention.
Assist in the creation and delivery of sales enablement materials including video case studies, brochureware, electronic sales aids, product information platform updates.
Create communications and workflows using CRM solutions including but not limited to Salesforce and HubSpot. Good copywriting and HMTL 5 skills would be advantageous.
Delivery and optimisation of digital marketing activity including programmatic display, Google Ads, LinkedIn Advertising and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns and activity against agreed targets. Use metrics to guide decision-making and optimise future efforts.
Ensure all communications messaging supports the overarching brand message and campaign themes.
Ensure all marketing out puts comply with: BCS brand guidelines, UK GDPR, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCCA) and CAP Code.
Develop strong working relationships with BCS teams across the business; particularly those with a strong dependency on the success of marketing activity.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Education & Qualifications
Membership of a Professional Body (e.g. CIM, IDM) or equivalent
Attained a professional qualification in marketing (or marketing degree equivalent)
A level qualified in any subjects or equivalent
Experience
Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing communications
Demonstrable experience of content writing and delivery using a range of communications techniques and technology including social media and web-based technology.
Experience in using CRM systems including Hubspot and Salesforce.
Experience in using campaign management systems including Asana, Monday.com etc.
Experience in using marketing platform technologies including: Canva, Hootsuite, SEMRush, Meta, X, etc.
Experience in delivering events.
Practical experience of cost/budget control.
