About the Role:
Joining us as a
Marketing Insight Assistant
on a
16 Month Fixed Term
basis, you'll be at the heart of helping Confused.com truly understand our customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about customer behavior, eager to dive deep into both quantitative and qualitative research, and skilled at turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.
You'll manage research projects from start to finish, collaborating across teams like Advertising, ECRM, UX, and Design to ensure customer understanding drives our strategies and decisions. What you'll be doing:
Research Design & Delivery:
Leading quantitative and qualitative research projects end-to-end, from survey design and data collection to analysis and reporting. This includes both primary research (surveys, interviews, focus groups) and secondary research (industry analysis, competitor intelligence).
Data Analysis & Interpretation:
Analysing large datasets using tools like Excel, or similar, interpreting customer feedback and behavioral data to spot trends, patterns, and opportunities. You'll combine various data sources to build a comprehensive view of the customer experience.
Insight Storytelling:
Transforming complex data into compelling, customer-focused insights and recommendations. You'll communicate findings persuasively to influence key stakeholders across the business.
Brand Health & Campaign Evaluation:
Managing ongoing Brand Health Tracking, evaluating campaign performance, and monitoring competitor activity
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partnering with colleagues across departments (Advertising, ECRM, UX, Design, etc.) to deliver on research briefs
Customer Metrics Management:
Taking ownership of crucial customer metrics, providing regular reporting and analysis supporting a customer-centric culture.

What we're looking for
Essentials:
Around 1 year of experience in a marketing or customer data focussed role, ideally within a digital environment.
Experience with quantitative research, including survey development, data analysis, and interpretation.
Comfortable using qualitative research techniques such as depth interviews or focus groups.
Proficient in data processing and visualization tools like Excel or similar.
An ability to tell stories with data, making insights accessible, engaging, and actionable for different audiences.
A genuine interest in marketing and a good understanding of how various channels contribute to brand performance.
Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meeting deadlines.
A collaborative team player who can also work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Open to change, with a strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
