Marketing Lead, Accountants

Newcastle upon Tyne, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Are you a results-driven marketing leader with a passion for performance, innovation, and growth?

We're looking for a dynamic Senior Marketing Lead to take ownership of the UKI Accountants NCA (New Customer Acquisition) and Groundgame strategy, setting the vision, driving revenue performance, and leading a high-performing team focused on measurable impact.

In this pivotal role, you will shape and deliver the full-funnel marketing plan across all channels, overseeing execution in partnership with UKIA digital and campaign hubs. You'll be the marketing voice in regional leadership conversations and the bridge between strategy, execution, and performance optimisation.

With full accountability for delivering marketing outcomes against ambitious growth targets, you'll play a key role in customer acquisition, campaign innovation, commercial planning, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product Marketing, and Routes-to-Revenue.

Location - Hybrid, 3 days per week out of our London, Manchester, Newcastle or Winnersh office.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the UKI NCA Accountants marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the Small BU growth targets and business priorities across SBCA, SBCP, Sage 50, SFA, Go Proposal, AutoEntry, and Futrli.

- Own and deliver the annual strategic and demand plan across all channels, working in lockstep with the wider organisation through budget cycles, roadmap launches, and market opportunities.

- Drive performance and accountability across metrics including ARR, trials, SQOs, MQLs, CPA, and LTV:CAC.

- Act as the primary lead between BU and UKIA digital & campaign hubs, building and optimising campaign plans in collaboration with regional and global teams.

- Own the performance reporting and trading cadence, presenting weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance updates to senior leadership with actionable insights.

- Leverage data, testing, and analytics to inform and continuously improve campaign efficiency and return on investment.

- Manage and track a multi-million-pound marketing budget, ensuring resources are deployed effectively to meet business objectives.

- Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

What we're looking for:

- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.

- Strong commercial focus with a deep understanding of performance KPIs and customer acquisition strategies.

- Knowledge of B2B and B2C marketing, including both digital and field marketing, with experience across ecommerce and assisted sales funnels.

- A collaborative leader, able to influence across matrix teams and drive results through others.

- Excellent communication skills - comfortable presenting to and influencing at senior levels.

- Confident working across multiple stakeholders, priorities, and workstreams with resilience and adaptability.
