P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery is a UK registered charity that exists to make life easier after acquired brain injury (ABI) by providing support, guidance and education sessions to empower all affected. We also campaign to improve services, raise awareness, and promote understanding.

The Purpose of Your Role
As our Marketing Manager, you'll play a hands-on role in bringing our mission to life through impactful campaigns that raise awareness, generate income, strengthen partnerships, and grow our community of supporters.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of multiple marketing campaigns across fundraising, events, awareness, and partnership projects - ensuring each one is planned, executed, measured, and improved with purpose and precision.
What You'll Be Doing
Campaign Delivery & Performance
? Plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple concurrent campaigns across fundraising, events, awareness, partnerships, and service promotion.
? Input into the wider marketing strategy and ensure each activity aligns with organisational goals.
? Track, analyse, and report on campaign results using data and insights to guide improvements.
? Manage marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to achieve maximum impact.
? Identify new opportunities for engagement and growth, both locally and nationally.
? Attend sector events or webinars (virtually or in person) to identify new leads, network with potential clients, and capture content for future campaigns.
Content & Communications
? Write and publish or schedule emotionally engaging online and offline content - including posts, newsletters, press features, case studies, videos and blog stories.
? Ensure all content reflects P.A.U.L For Brain Recoverys tone, values, and brand voice.
? Develop and test campaign messaging that resonates with specific audiences
? Support media relations, including liaising with local and national press to raise awareness of our work.
? Manage and grow the company's digital presence, ensuring consistent messaging and tone across all platforms.
? Design and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to re-engage lapsed donors and nurture fundraising and corporate partnership opportunities.
? Create, edit, and circulate the company's monthly newsletter, ensuring content is relevant, emotionally engaging, and aligned to charity objectives.
? Maintain the library of marketing assets including, brochures, service user training guides, case studies, flyers, and video content, to support community engagement.
? Ensure all campaigns comply with brand, GDPR, and ethical marketing standards.
Automation & Data Management
? Maintain complete and accurate data, ensuring all contacts, potential donors and fundraisers are added to the database promptly and accurately.
? Ensure all contacts are tagged, segmented, and kept up to date.
? Utilise automation tools and workflows to nurture leads, trigger follow-ups, and streamline prospect communication.
? Monitor journey stages -- from initial engagement through to qualification and participation.
? Produce weekly reports detailing data source, qualification rates, and how many turn into active participants.
? Collaborate with the Leadership Team to ensure visibility of the marketing audience journey and performance outcomes.
Collaboration & Leadership
? Work closely with Events, Operations, and Service Delivery teams to align messaging and campaigns.
? Lead external creative partners and suppliers to deliver quality, on-brand outputs - as required.
? Align all marketing activity to P.A.U.L objectives and income targets, ensuring campaigns generate measurable results.
? Monitor performance metrics, including engagement rates and conversion ratios, and recommend improvements where needed.
? Conduct ongoing service user interviews to identify emerging opportunities to improve the service user experience, needs, and pain points.
? Share insights and analytics with directors to inform broader business development strategy.
? Represent the company professionally at networking events, exhibitions, and online forums to enhance reputation and brand reach.
Decision-Making & Autonomy
? Authority to plan, execute, and optimise marketing campaigns within approved strategy, budgets and brand guidelines.
? Accountable for ensuring all outreach and marketing activity is accurate, compliant, and strategically aligned.
? Expected to use professional judgement when prioritising marketing opportunities and data segments, escalating only where reputational or compliance risks arise.
