Overview
We are looking for a
Marketing Manager
to support the delivery of high-impact campaigns across the Bolesworth portfolio. This is an ideal opportunity for a marketer with around four - five years' experience who is ready to step into their first management role.
The Role
Reporting into the Marketing Director, you will play a key role in delivering marketing campaigns that raise awareness, drive ticket sales, and support commercial goals. You will work across digital, print, PR, and on-site marketing, ensuring activity is delivered on time, on brand, and to a high standard.
This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and managing projects from start to finish. You will also line-manage a Marketing Intern, helping to develop their skills while building your own leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Delivery
Manage and deliver campaigns for the Bolesworth International, across digital, email, PR, advertising, and collateral.
Support the delivery of campaigns for Bolesworth Auctions, ensuring effective reach and engagement.
Coordinate with internal graphic designer, external agencies and printers to produce high-quality marketing materials.
Digital Marketing
Manage website content and updates, ensuring accuracy and optimisation.
Monitor and improve SEO performance working with external agency.
Create and send email campaigns, track results, and suggest improvements.
Work with the Digital Content Manager to develop & deliver a content strategy that supports the key pillars of the business by growing reach & engagement
Ticketing & Sales Management
Act as the main liaison with Bolesworth's ticketing partner set up and manage all event ticketing requirements.
Monitor ticket sales and allocations, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Provide regular sales performance reports to the Marketing Director and wider team.
Work with Ticketek on marketing initiatives to maximise ticket sales.
Ensure a seamless customer journey across all ticketing platforms and touchpoints.
Estate Marketing
Deliver marketing activity to support property sales and rentals.
Produce promotional content for venue hire, estate activities, and visitor experiences.
Partner & Sponsor Activation
Oversee the delivery of sponsor and partner activations across events.
Oversee the delivery of sponsor assets such as signage, branding, and digital content.
Support with the production of campaign collateral including event programmes, signage, and advertising materials.
Provide on-the-ground marketing support during the event, including overseeing onsite media, content creation, branding, and sponsor activations.
Team Support & Collaboration
Line-manage and support a Marketing Intern
Work closely with the Marketing Director and wider team to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively.
Report on campaign performance, providing clear insights and recommendations.
About You
You'll be an organised and enthusiastic marketer, ready to take the next step in your career. With strong digital skills and a flair for campaign delivery, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Essential skills & experience:
Around 4- 5 years' marketing experience, ideally in ticketed events, equestrian or premium brand sector.
Hands-on experience across digital marketing, email campaigns, SEO, and content management systems.
Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
Excellent project management and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively while managing your own workload.
Excellent attention to detail
Experience of managing external agencies
Experience of basic video production and creative packages such as Canva
An understanding of SEO and how it shapes content production
Website development experience using WordPress or a similar CMS
Strong interpersonal and networking skills
Desirable:
Knowledge or interest in the equestrian world, particularly show jumping.
Experience in events or venue marketing.
Exposure to managing or mentoring a colleague.
What We Offer
Salary of 34,000 - 35,000 per year.
