Protocol is working closely with an FE college based in Cambridgeshire to help recruit for motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Manager for School Leavers & Employers. We are looking for talented marketing specialists who will help promote and drive the client\xe2\x80\x99s brand, ethics and culture to attract new students and create relations with businesses in the area. The institution is committed to providing a broad range of courses for all learners and the client is looking to grow the team.

The role:

  • Full-time/Temp-to-perm, up to \xc2\xa335,000 depending on candidate. Temp role, \xc2\xa320-25 per hour plus statutory holiday pay.
  • Covering multi-channel expertise from direct marketing, PPC, advertising both on and offline, email, PR, social media, SEO, events, telemarketing, lead management and conversion, multi-media (video) content and collateral production.
  • To monitor, measure, evaluate and report on campaign performance to achieve excellent return on investment and conversion rates. To seek to continually improve and hone marketing campaign performance.
  • Account management; to proactively engage with key departmental representatives across the business to ensure the needs of the College are met.
  • To lead on the management and delivery of the College\xe2\x80\x99s main events, including; Open Days, Award Ceremonies, Job Fairs, Graduation Ceremonies, Apprenticeship Week, employer events, exhibitions and careers fairs.
  • To line manage a Marketing and Events Coordinator and a Marketing and Events Apprentice to create and maintain a high performing team as part of and contributing to the wider marketing department.
  • To work closely with the school engagement function to support the implementation of the school engagement strategy and ensuring high quality school events and experience as part of the wider recruitment strategy.
  • To act as a customer experience champion to develop high performing nurture and conversion programmes, using marketing platforms and CRM, to improve the customer journey from application to enrolment.
  • To be responsible for obtaining sponsorship and review/ create sponsorship opportunities
  • To contribute to the development of the annual marketing plan and strategy.
The person:

We are therefore seeking passionate individuals with a background in Marketing ideally with knowledge of the education system.

Have you got what it takes?
  • Degree in relevant subject, CIM/IDM.
  • Relevant FE or industry experience.
  • Level 2 Maths & English.
  • A positive and supportive attitude to student learning and experience.
