We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to support our Water business - a broad, highly regulated sector where our clients and communities are at the heart of everything we do.


Reporting into the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager, you will both be dedicated to the water sector, working closely to deliver impact through account management strategies, compelling content, thoughtful storytelling and industry awards.


In this role, you will collaborate closely with the water team and technical experts to deliver a cohesive and impactful marketing strategy that supports business growth and raises Stantec's profile. You will apply your marketing and digital skills to communicate how we're addressing key challenges in the water sector, ensuring all activity aligns with our UK&I growth strategy.


With a focus on multi-channel tactics and measurable outcomes, you'll also champion brand consistency, support relationship-building efforts, and help ensure our marketing approach is thoughtful, strategic, and effective.

ABOUT YOU

Degree qualified, you will have at least 5 years' experience in a marketing role - experience in B2B/professional services, the construction or engineering sectors will be highly regarded. Appreciation of marketing within a regulated environment is a must.


Your storytelling and writing skills are essential for this role. You will be well-versed in developing compelling project profiles and creating impactful award entries, seeking the input of key personnel, and weaving together practical delivery stories with strategic messaging. You will have experience of digital tactics and channels, including paid search and social media activity.


A client-focused marketing professional, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy managing concurrent initiatives, and working with different personality styles and management levels. While based in the UK&I team you will have the opportunity to work with and learn from marketing colleagues across the globe.
