We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Marketing Manager to work as part of our Cereal Partners UK team at our head office in Welwyn Garden City. This role will report directly into the Head of Marketing and will see you work on a number of fantastic cereal brands to deliver best in class marketing activities that support us to achieve our commercial objectives.

A day in the life...

As a Marketing Manager you will define the strategy and build long-term plans to drive brand performance on two key brands. You will manage all elements of the marketing mix ensuring brand equities are maintained and accelerated throughout the activity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development and execution of engaging brand plans to drive brand performance.
  • Deliver agreed sales and profit targets for the brands you own, working closely with our CDT and commercial teams.
  • Work closely with the Global team to influence the direction and development of overarching communications campaigns. Ensuring suitability for local market.
  • Bring the brand purpose and big idea to life across various touchpoints - adapting Global assets and developing local assets as necessary. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders and agencies (media, advertising, PR etc) to ensure alignment and flawless execution.
  • Know your business inside out - be fully on top of internal and external brand performance metrics. Able to communicate knowledgeably reasons for brand\'s performance to a variety of stakeholders, collaborating to develop action plans accordingly.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programmes adjusting plans in line with learnings.
  • Manage and develop direct reports.
  • Budget ownership and management ensuring most effective use of spend and attention to eliminating waste.
  • Closely monitor industry and competitor activity, to ensure plans are maintained and adapted in a constantly changing, competitive FMCG environment.
What will make you successful?

To be successful in this role you will already have fantastic marketing experience under your belt, ideally within a Marketing Manager role. You will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as a brand ambassador, you will have strong project management and analytical skills whilst being a conscientious team player. Pro-activity and enthusiasm are essential elements for this role. You\'ll also:
  • Have the ability to influence at senior levels both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills, targeting a wide audience from customers to internal stakeholders.
  • Be able to run sizable projects and work streams from concept to delivery.
  • Have prior knowledge of running multi-pronged communications programmes.
  • Be able to demonstrate your experience of leading new product launches.
