Are you a talented marketing professional looking for a new challenge? An exciting opportunity to join Manchester Met's B2B marketing team on a permanent basis has now arisen, and we're on the lookout for someone who can hit the ground running. Based within the B2B Marketing team, you'll support the Marketing Manager in delivering a range of innovative marketing initiatives in line with the University's Road to 2030 Strategy.


About the role





Operating at an officer level, you will:


Develop and deliver engaging and impactful strategic and tactical Degree Apprenticeships activity to support the overall B2B marketing strategy. Create a rolling programme of rich media content to encourage business engagement across Degree Apprenticeships and wider B2B initiatives when required. Work with the Head of Marketing (B2B) and the Marketing Manager (Degree Apprenticeships) to plan, communicate and deliver effective multi-media campaigns and events, sharing good practice and providing relevant insights. Be responsible for line management of two Marketing Executives (Degree Apprenticeships)

We were one of the first universities to launch degree apprenticeships in 2015 and the first university provider at our scale to be rated Ofsted 'Outstanding' in 2018 and again in 2022.



Delivering degree apprenticeships with over 700 of the UK's leading employers, SMEs and public sector organisations, we enable organisations to overcome skills shortages. Our collaborative approach has seen over 5,400 apprentices participate in our programmes and over 2,000 graduates in important subject areas including business, HR and management, creative and digital technology, health and social care, and science. These subject areas equip our apprentices with the skills they need to take on the industrial challenges of tomorrow and make a tangible workplace impact.

About the Marketing team





Our integrated Marketing team provides full mix marketing support aligned to the University priorities across education, research and reputation, to help deliver against our strategic objectives. Marketing excellence, impact, and staff development is at the heart of how we work.



The B2B Marketing team, which sits within the wider Marketing department structure, delivers a targeted B2B marketing strategy through the execution of creative, engaging, and impactful multi-media activity. This is aligned with the University's Road to 2030 strategy, and the University's Degree Apprenticeships, Centre for Enterprise and Business Engagement and Partnerships teams.



You will be expected to work closely with teams across the University including Marketing and Apprenticeships, sharing expertise and best practice.
