As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated Marketing Officer to strengthen our international recruitment efforts, with a particular focus on the Chinese market.

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive, creative, and strategic Marketing Officer who can lead our student-recruitment initiatives targeting prospective learners from China. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of the Chinese education market, experience in international student recruitment, and the ability to build and maintain partnerships with agents, institutions, and communities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement marketing and recruitment strategies for the Chinese market Build and manage relationships with overseas education agents, partners, and institutions Represent the academy in online and in-country recruitment activities, fairs, and events Manage digital campaigns across Chinese platforms (e.g., WeChat, Weibo, Douyin) Provide guidance and support to prospective international students throughout the application process Analyse recruitment data and market trends to optimise performance Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth admissions and onboarding processes

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in international student recruitment or education marketing Strong understanding of the Chinese student market and recruitment channels Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken) Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage multiple projects Strong organisational and analytical skills

Desirable

Experience working with education agents in China Familiarity with Chinese social media marketing Previous experience in a UK education institution
