Job overview



We are seeking a proactive and persuasive Marketing Officer to lead our student recruitment marketing efforts for the University Foundation Programme (UFP). The role will focus on increasing high-quality student applications and strengthening the UFP brand both in the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and implement UFP marketing campaigns. Plan and coordinate marketing activities for each academic year. Develop and manage UFP's social media presence to increase visibility and engagement. Provide applicants with accurate and supportive information about the programme and admissions process. Gather and share applicant feedback with admissions, marketing, and leadership teams. Support the planning and delivery of recruitment activities (college fairs, open days, information sessions). Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance recruitment strategies. Monitor and analyse student recruitment data to inform future strategies. Utilise CRM systems, social media channels, and the UFP website to promote the programme.

Requirements:



Essential:

Confident communicator, persuasive, organised, target-driven, able to work independently, fluent English.

Preferred:

Marketing experience (student recruitment strongly preferred), experience with CRM systems and social media management.

Desirable:

Knowledge of UK education system, visa/immigration processes, additional languages relevant to international markets.

To act in a safe manner at all times and in accordance with the College's health and safety policies and practices to ensure the health and safety of oneself, staff, learners and visitors to the College. To follow college procedure in the safeguarding of all learners, ensuring that data protection regulations are adhered to. Pro-actively improve student safeguarding and welfare policies, utilising knowledge gained whilst dealing with student and parent enquiries. Attend mandatory training.

Other Duties



To work collaboratively with colleagues to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of college and directorate operations. Actively advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations within the College community. Adhere to College equal opportunities policies, procedures and practices.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking to people and is motivated by results. Training will be provided. Competitive hourly rate offered, with flexible working options.

Salary:

Between 27,000 and 35,000 depending on experience.

: Full time, fixed term contract (1 year)

: 6 Months

Annual Leave Entitlement
